Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance is a critical part of any businesses success, it reduces cost in time, frustration and financially from conducting repairs or honoring warranty claims but more importantly it improves customer satisfaction and subsequently retention of those customers.
Quality Assurance is a complicated thing to manage as it looks very different for each business as well as the different departments or even products within a business. FSM has incorporated a system called Control Questions that allow the business to setup their own personalised quality control system, giving the user complete control over them including:
-
Quality Control on Estimation Request, Quotes, Site Measure, Manufacturing, Delivery, Installation and Site Glazing
-
Questions are only asked when they meet job type, category, account type and product type criteria as well as specific users and if jobs incorporate certain things
-
Questions are asked at various stages of the objects process determined by the user and can be compulsory or optional for the user to answer
-
Questions can require attachments so that users have to attach photos or documents to the process as proof of completion
-
Questions can be asked once per job, for a task such as cutting or for each individual item
-
The system is fully audited logging all changes that happen and when
-
All of this information is summarised in a Quality Control report that can be used internally or given to clients as proof of process

Control Question Templates
Control Question Templates are easy to create with obvious prompts on the view to allow you to easily navigate and determine how to create control questions. They allow for extra functionality like filling in certain fields to the object once answered (delivery cost, site glazing cost, building consent number to name a few) as well as having certain key words in the questions template be replaced with actual information from the job when the question is answered so it is specific and unique to each item
Quality Control Checking
Questions are asked interactively to the user throughout the process, not allowing them to proceed with their task until they have completed the quality control. This ensures that quality control is not a tick box event but actually done at the right time of the process where photos and information can be captured correctly.
Additionally FSM allows for Quality Control questions to be answered on demand if a user wants to do so at a specific time

Quality Control Report
All of the information in the Quality Control system is captured by reporting to allow managers and clients to see the quality control performed on a job
